Welcome to DunOr.org
We are a Barony located in the Antelope Valley, high in Southern California, and encompassing the geographic area from Palmdale to the Tehachapi mountains. Made up of a smaller population but mighty in our members, we are very proud of their contributions within the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA). A true valley of Kings, for our Caidan Chapter has contributed 4 of the last 6 crowned since the Spring of 2006. We welcome all who are interested in our mission as a non-profit, educational, and historical society dedicated to reliving and recreating the Middle Ages and Renaissance.

Join us for Queen Faizeh’s Festival of the Rose on February 2nd, 2007.

I would like to express my thanks for all the good people who braved the freeway problems on Sat. The weather cooperated and provided us with the most glorious day. Bright blue skies, mild temperatures and just a hint of the fabled Dun Or wind, made for a perfect day.
The baronial populace did a marvelous job of coming together and making this happen. Even with the park threatening to cancel our event (not a thing one wants to hear at 10 in the morning the day of the event), all worked out just fine.
I am very proud to be Dun Or’s Baroness and am glad so many come to share this day with us. I was quite teary eyed when our herald inserted “the great” barony to the final huzzahs and the populace followed suit.
Also a special thank you to Her Excellency of Dreiburgen and her 2 court members for driving down to help set up. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
