Exchequer: $6240.71. Expecting $200 deposit back from Anniversary.

Webwright: will have the site updated by January 17th. Will also send in Doomsday report. (Seneshal reported that there has been a lot of talk about sites not being updated. Baron reported that someone couldn’t find their excellencies’ preferences - webwright will add a link on the home page to the preferences page.)

 

Anniversary 2011: Date April 23rd. First notice will need to be submitted by the 25th. Possible sites Palmdale, Acton?. Easter can be a major conflict for parks (Egg Hunts), need site ASAP. Suggested budget $500. Need to have a fundraiser. Last few events have cost us money. Perhaps a raffle, or pledges (fighters), or lunch box raffle. Site tokens: poppy or celitic knot stamp on ribbon. (Cera can donate cloth), or poppy buttons. Consort tokens: Cera donating amber necklaces. A&S spring, dragon, antelope, knot. Fighting same style as last time, unlimited. 1 point for entering the field. Raffle tickets used for Darkwell should be in storage.

Exchequer report: $6300 in account, insurance check is pending

Old Business: financial group went over Anniversary budget, approved.

New Business: discussed moving meeting to Butlers Coffee.

White Scarf Meeting: Don Colyn nominated Dun Or to take over running the “unscarved” tourney, which will be run similarly to Unbelted. Need to have an autocrat and a site. Need to contact Order of White Scarf for date (Altavia has a date in 2011 calendar, when are we taking over the event?)

Event sites: disscussed the need for sites better suiting our finances and hopefully nearer L.A. Acton brought up as a possible location.

Exchequer: $6200 with $50 outstanding for insurance

A&S: no report. Khalida is taking over April 1st.

Newcomers: garb practice in park on 3rd Sunday

Marshal: “there will be fighting at Anniversary”

Webwright: asked for approval for an online data storage, noted that it will NOT be an official Dun Or website, but don’t want to lose some of the data that is available out there such as all the information from Darkwells 13, 14, 15 and 17. Or the award scrolls, or any of the artwork that was designed for the Barony. CDs given to previous Seneschals were never passed onto the next Seneschal. Approved.

Old Business: Anniversary: To do: Kalida to take care of website, pending official status. Muiriath to contact CP to change location and autocrat. At next meeting, bring in ribbons for site tokens. Completed. Site tokens made (salt in tiny amphiles). Khalida has copy of insurance rider. Cera donated items to be used as prizes, or use in raffle: Mace (made my Arthur Knox), Fencing Pell (tennis balls on pole with stand), Decorative Catapult, various necklaces. Fighting will be the same as last time. Will only have Prince and Princess. Their majesties are not attending.

Council meeting location: we like Butlers Coffee

New Business: Archery: need to email Madog.

Need to remove unofficial practices from the website

2012 calendar: Memorial Tourney, currently scheduled week before GWW, suggestion, instead, help sponsor Valkeryie Tourney with Ladies of the Rose. Khalida will contact Ladies of the Rose.
Discussion of joint Yule with Al Sahid, approved. Khalida will contact Senschal of Al Sahid.
Khalida will ask for April 14, 21, or 28 for 2012 Anniversary.

Unscarved Tourney, might be in August? (Caid Open in spetember). Rashin has volunteered to autocrat. Don Kelan will contact Order of White Scarf to confirm if Dun Or hosting this year and if so what is the date.

2 1/2 Barony Event: How do we get our name taken off of it? Baron Kelan will look into it.

Camping sites: discussed Big Rock Campground, expensive and restrictive. Kentucky Rifles site, Hawthorne youth Camp, Painted Turtle

No Darkwell this year.

Disscussed possibility of combined Altavia and Dun Or Camping Anniversary.
