Barony of Dun Or

October 18th

Come one and all to celebrate the Anniversary of Dun Or in the exact geographic center of CAID! The day’s events will all revolve around the martial arts. A new Bard of Dun Or will be chosen based on their ability to communicate the martial prowess of our lovely baroness.
Other artisans are encouraged to display their Art in a `Martial’ Arts competition. (Any art that displays martial combat, or helps those who do combat look good!)

As for combat, there will be plenty. Rapier and Armored combat will each have four double elimination speed tourneys. Armored: Sword and shield, great weapon, Florentine, and single sword. Rapier: Offensive off hand, Defensive off hand, Single weapon, and funny secondary. Each combatant will receive one point for each round they fight. The victor of each tourney will receive a five point reward. The champion of Dun Or in both Rapier and Armored will determined by the combatant with the most points after all tourneys are complete.

Site fee is only $2.00 for members to help with the cost of the drive (a surcharge of $3 will be added for non-members.)

From the South: find your way to the 14 North. Exit Rosamond Blvd. Take a Right on Rosamond and a quick left on Glendower Str. The park is on the Right.

From the North: Find Your Way to the 14 South. Exit Rosamond Blvd. Take a Left and go over the freeway. Take a left on Glendower St. The park is on the Right.
